Blue Skies Hospice is offering a 105 hour Certified Nurses Aide training course which is fully accredited by the Indiana State Department of Health.  The C.N.A. training prepares students for certification placement. The course includes 30 hours of classroom training at 2714 169th Street, Hammond, IN and 75 hours of clinicals at an approved long term facility within the community.  Students learn to function as members of a healthcare team through assisting residents with basic personal care such as:  bathing, ambulation, nutrition, elimination, comfort, safety, and other routine procedures as well as meeting psychosocial and spiritual needs.
