Volunteering
All individuals who have time to share are invited to attend a Blue Skies Hospice volunteer training session and learn about hospice. No experience is required, just a wish to help others. When Volunteer Training is completed, an interview is scheduled to discuss the volunteer's areas of interest and expertise. In addition to working with patients and families Blue Skies Hospice volunteers also provide support and help in the office.
Volunteers are a great group of people that volunteer their time just to help others. They expect nothing in return from their patients and receive great satisfaction in just knowing that they are helping someone. The relationships built by volunteering are ones that are memorable for the rest of a person's life. Do something! Start volunteering as soon as possible and make the most of your talents.
